Recreational Biking on the Great Allegheny Passage

Great Allegheny Passage Trail Status  

Maryland/Pennsylvania 

Maps here: Meyersdale to Rockwood ; Confluence to Ohiopyle ; Meyersdale to Frostburg ; Harnedsville -Fort Hill-Rockwood

The Maryland section is finished from the Mason-Dixon Line to Woodcock Hollow, which is approximately halfway to Cumberland. Construction has begun on the remaining nine miles from Woodcock Hollow to Cumberland, and this section is closed to the public.

Ohiopyle State Park
The High Bridge at Ferncliff Peninsula in Ohiopyle State Park is now open.
Somerset County, PA: Big Savage Tunnel

The Big Savage Tunnel, near the Mason-Dixon Line, opened and lighted. 

Pinkerton Tunnel

The Pinkerton Tunnel, near Markleton, remains closed with detour on abandoned rail line following the river.
