Breakfast at the Stonebow Inn
Breakfast is an event to be
savored at the Stonebow Inn. Every morning in our intimate dining room at
your private table you will experience new menu choices prepared by your
hosts Julyen & Cathy.
A
full breakfast is always offered. Your choice may include a light and
healthful selection such as our signature Stonebow Inn Premium Granola served with
either low-fat milk or plain yogurt, combined with fresh fruit salad or a
warm poached fruit compote, or you may allow yourself a vacation
extravagance and continue with such delicious choices as Grand Marnier
French Toast drizzled with Garrett County Maple Syrup or Black Forest Baked
Eggs - baked cups of ham filled with mushrooms, sour cream, fresh farm eggs,
parmesan cheese and chopped tarragon. We delight in coming up with new and
flavorful breakfast dishes year-round, so relax and enjoy a special and
leisurely start to the morning in the mountains of western Maryland.

We are pleased to offer our guests a selection of wines, beers, champagne. Our selection of wines varies seasonally but usually

Lapostelle Sauvignon Blanc (Chile), a crisp melon flavored white wine

Chardonnay (NZ), made more in the French style (no oak)

(AU), a fresh slightly sweet white table wine, great with dessert

Correas Malbec (Arg), a lovely dry red that opens up in the glass

Cabernet Sauvignon, a full bodied red from California

Estate Diamond Red Shiraz, a fruity red from down under

and we now offer a
selection of artisanal and hand-crafted beers including Theakston's Old
Peculier from England and Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale from the US.
In the parlor complimentary port and sherry are also
offered.

Gourmet breakfast choices, prepared daily by
Innkeeper Julyen Norman. Menu changes daily; local and seasonal products
feature strongly. Special dietary needs can be accommodated with
advance notice (vegetarian, vegan, kosher, gluten-free, non-dairy,
diabetic, allergies etc.)
